Thursday, August 7th - Organic Beer Tasting: 5-7 pm $5 - Along with our multitude of organic products here at Whole Foods Market, we also feature some amazing organically produced beers. Come in and try some excellent selections from Butte Creek, Wolavers and Lamar Street.
Friday, August 8th - Wine Tasting Bonterra Vineyards: 5-7 pm $10 - Bonterra grapes offer a quality of fruit and vibrancy of taste that's unparalled in the world of ordinary wines. Come see for yourself how Bonterra breaks the mold and continues to produce wine of the highest quality.
Saturday, August 9th - Wine Tasting Sinful Syrahs: 5-7 pm $10 - Taste the world of Voss, 3 Saints, Hitching Post's Big Circle, and more.
Sunday, August 10th & Monday, August 11th Affligem/Hacker Pschorr Beer Tasting: 5-7 pm $5 - Affligem abbey is located on the border between the provinces of Flemish Brabant and East Flanders, in the village of Opwijk in Belgium. From here we will be pouring thier blonde dubbel and triple ales. Also, we will be featuring Hacker Pschorr which traces ancestry to 1417 when it was founded in Munich. These beers claim a brewing process that has been virtually unchanged over 580 years.
Thursday, August 14th, Allagash Cheese Pairing Event: 5-7 pm $8 - Allagash brews a unique variety of traditional and experimental Belgian-style beers made with a dedication to craftsmanship and quality. Tonight, a representative from ALLAGASH will not only be here pouring all of their wonderful tasting beers, but will also be educating us. Each beer will be paired together with a fine cheese counterpart, hand picked from our very own Whole Foods Market cheese case.

Sunday, August 17th and Monday, August 18th Karl Stauss Brewery: 5-7 pm $5 - Karl Strauss Brewing Company is a San Diego based beer business with a microbrewery and a chain of brewpub/restaurants. Tonight, they will be here pouring a few of their most popular brews. A few notables are the Woodie Gold, Stargazer IPA, Endless Summer Light and Red Trolley Ale.
Tuesday, August 19th & 25th Cheese 101, Take The Mystery Out Of Cheese: 5-7 pm Complimentary - Ever wonder what cheeses are best for cooking? Which are best for a picnic? Have you ever asked yourself what is Gruyere and what am I supposed to do with it? Our new Cheese 101 series will answer these and many more of your cheesy questions.
Thursday, August 21st Anderson Valley Beer Tasting: 5-7pm $5 - Buried deep within Northern California's coastal redwood groves, Anderson Valley provides a beautiful setting with lush greenery that is ideal for wineries and the Anderson Valley Brewery. It is here where they have created their award winning Boonville beers. From these beers, we will be pouring the Poleeko Gold, Hop Ottin IPA, Boont Amber Ale and last but not least their Summer Solstice Cerveza Crema.
Friday, August 22nd Wine Tasting, Goats-Do-Roam: 5-7pm $10 Winemaker and owner of Fairview Wines, Charles Back brings us Rhone style wines from the lands of South Africa. The humorous wines from Goats-Do-Roam seem to have the last laugh as their wines seem to deliver some serious tasting notes. Come join us as we explore these wines and discover, yet, another delicious line of wines.
Saturday, August 23rd Wine Tasting, Classic Wines: 5-7pm $10 - Come join Merrill as he leads us through another night of wonderful wines from his amazing portfolio.
Sunday August 24th and Monday August 25th Green Flash Brewery: 5-7pm $5 Once again San Diego will be proudly represented with another fine brewery in Green Flash. Tonight they will be here educating us and pouring their delicious line of microbrewed beers, including West Coast IPA, Hop Head red, Imperial IPA, Stout, and their Belgian style Trippel.
Thursday August 28th AleSmith Beer Tasting: 5-7pm $10 Forged in 1995, AleSmith Brewery is an artisan microbrewery that has handcrafted ales in a variety of styles. Their ales have continued to gain national and international awards, as well as a loyal following among beer enthusiasts.

Sunday August 31st Pilsner Urquell with Fine Cheese: 4-7pm $5 Tonight will be a tasting event featuring Pilsner Urquell. This Czech Pilsner has been produced since 1842 and we will be pairing it with a few of our fine cheeses. Along with these pairings a representative for Pilsner Urquell will be guiding us through this event to make it another fantastic tasting event not to miss.
